one way you might be able to fix the cropping problem is too reduce the size of the image by clicking on it in the edit mode and entering different widths and heights. It is good to keep the proportion even, so if you want to find out the current size of the image, go to the direct source (through your credit link) and right click on the image. Select properties, that will give you orig. width and height.
