A quote I wanted to add to my last post

Music: Victimae Paschali Laudes by The Benedictine Monks Of Santo Domingo De Silos

When I read this quote for the first time I was struck by how true it is and how I’ve experienced it in this last year.

Grief is a most peculiar thing; we’re so helpless in the face of it. It’s a window that will simply open of its own accord. The room grows cold, and we can do nothing but shiver. But it opens a little less each time, and a little less; and one day we wonder what has become of it.
~Arthur Golden from “Memoirs of a Geisha”
